Web 2.0/social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, this blog!) has received much interest in the world of academic libraries, both as a means for promoting library services, but also as a way of helping students with their studies. I’m currently studying for an MSc in Information Management at Northumbria University, and as part of my final project am carrying out a case study of Web 2.0/social media use in the IOE Library. Attached is a very brief questionnaire on social media use library user questionnaire. If you could spare just 5 minutes to fill it in, that would be very helpful. The questionnaire will run until 9 June 2012. Completed questionnaires should be sent to e.carpenter@ioe.ac.uk . Thank you for your time.
