Responses to ‘The Hargreaves Review’ now available

The Intellectual Property Office recently published a summary of responses from interested parties to the Government’s Review of Intellectual Property and Growth (the “Hargreaves Review“). Respondents included representative bodies, private companies, independent media professionals, the legal profession and other¬†interested individuals.

This is of particular interest from an educational point of view as the proposed changes could potentially expand exceptions to copyright covering preservation by libraries and archives, research and private study, text and data mining and educational use more generally, amongst others.
