We’ve just published a new guide on the archives of Amelia Fysh, a teacher working after the Second World War who developed inclusive education for children with disabilities at the nursery school she ran. The guide provides an overview of Amelia’s career and philosophy, a description of her collection available at the IOE archives, a range of images of education in the 1950s, and links to other relevant resources. It is the third guide we have produced on our collections. The others are:
National Union of Women Teachers
In time we will be creating guides for each of our collections and will publicise them here when they are live.
