U.S. Government Shutdown affects ERIC

If you’re searching on ERIC (the American database published by ‘Education Research Information Centre’, a U.S. government funded initiative), you may notice that your search results are smaller in number than on previous occasions.  This is because of the current U.S. Government Shutdown.  The following has message will be displayed when you try and access the free site at  http://www.eric.ed.gov:

Access to online journals which the Newsam Library subscribes to will still be available via the ProQuest interface.
